I wanted to let everyone know that I am now playing with the Lonesome River Band. I am real exited. I have been playing with them now for about a month, and I'm having a great time. We just got back from California last week and had a great time and met some great people out there. Check out our schedule.

Just got done recording on the Lonesome River Band's new CD titled "The Road With No End." The release date will be in July 2006 and will be on Mountain Home Records. Be sure and get it; it's a great CD!

Just started a new CD that should be out in early spring! The CD will have 12 songs; some standard tunes and some original tunes. Hopefully there will be something for everyone's taste on this CD.

I had a great time this weekend. We played our first two shows for the new year. We had a great time playing in Maryville, Tennessee at the Palace Theater (see photos). I had a lot of my friends come out and it was really great seeing them. It was a packed house and we had a lot of fun. The next show we played ! was on Sunday in Marydel, Deleware. I got to meet a lot of great people and hope to see them again soon. I'm looking forward to the new year and hoping to see a lot of you at some shows this year.

IBMA 2005

It was good meeting everyone at IBMA this year. We had a great time and had a great time playing. I wanted to say congratulations to my dad Phil Leadbetter. He took home to awards this year at IBMA. He won instrumental album of the year and he's 2005 Dobro player of the year. Hope to see you all again real soon. Take care.

We (Valerie Smith and Liberty Pike) had the great opportunity to perform in Nashville Tennessee at the Ryman Auditorium on September 24th, 2005 for the Bell Witch movie!
